Overview
The Homerton is an innovative and friendly Foundation Trust providing a wide range of services to the local community of Hackney and specialist services on a national level. The Hospital has a modern Medical Education Centre and an active Postgraduate Teaching Programme and a well‑stocked library.
We are looking for a senior clinical fellow to join us for, commencing in March 2025. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a doctor with an interest in critical care to develop as a clinician. The post is designed to provide a wide range of critical care experience, including attending the follow‑up clinic and working with a range of specialities to continue to develop critical care services within the Trust.
Responsibilities
- Attend the follow‑up clinic for critical care patients.
- Work with a range of specialities to develop critical care services within the Trust.
- Provide input into all other areas of the hospital, particularly the Emergency Department, as required.
Qualifications
- Previous adult critical care experience.
- Advanced airway skills are essential for the post holder.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council is required at the time of application.
- Possession of a higher qualification is desirable, though not essential.
