CNC Programmer

Commutable from Chesterfield, Alfreton, Derbyshire and surrounding areas.

Salary up to £43,000 per annum. Day Shift – 4 Day week (Flexitime). Permanent.

Do you have experience working within precision machining and high-quality solutions, from either aerospace or subcontracting industries? Are you looking for experienced programmers to deliver critical work to a variety of clients and suppliers?

What you will be doing:

• Operating and setting up CNC machines on milling or turning.
• Programming controls for new orders and repeat orders.
• Quality checking own work.
• Daily maintenance and inspections on machinery.
• Working to customers orders and criteria.
• Working within a team to support orders.
• Minimizing downtime.

Skills and Experience

• Proven CNC experience.
• Knowledge ideally with Fanuc, Heidenhain or Hurco but not essential.
• Able to use measuring equipment for quality checking.
• CAD software experience for offline programming.
• Able to follow health and safety.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
