Ipswich commutable from Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Woodbridge, Manningtree, Sudbury, Harwich and surrounding areas.
Are you an electrically biased engineer with some mechanical skills and looking to develop your technical skillset while earning premium overtime?
Exciting opportunity for a Workshop Engineer to join a family‑run manufacturer, where you will work on technically interesting products while being part of a company that values its staff.
This family‑run business has been established for decades and has an excellent reputation for the quality of its product. They work alongside several blue‑chip clients across a range of industries and have exciting expansion plans in place.
In this role you will be workshop‑based to service, maintain and strip electrical and mechanical equipment, and you will also attend site visits to loyal customers to complete engineering works.
The role would ideally suit a Workshop Engineer with electrical and mechanical skills who is looking to settle in a long‑term stable position.
The Role
- Stripping pumps, electric industrial gearboxes and other electrical equipment.
- Complete repairs and testing of equipment.
- Attend various local sites to remove, repair and refit equipment.
The Person
- Experience as a multi‑skilled engineer.
- Electrical bias.
- Great work ethic and attitude in a team and on your own.
- Full driving license.
