Location & Hours
Royal Navy Redevelopment team based in Plymouth – Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth40 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired.
Security & Eligibility
SC level of security clearance required. Security checks may take up to 8 weeks. Only candidates holding a British Passport can be considered; CSCS White PQP/AQP card and SC clearance required. No sponsorship certificates offered.
Responsibilities
- Implementing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System across all project levels
- Conducting internal audits and ensuring timely resolution of any findings
- Reviewing Inspection and Test Plans and supporting progressive sign‑off through client engagement
- Managing the material approval process and ensuring appropriate certification is obtained
- Providing guidance, training and mentoring to site teams on quality matters
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Quality or Construction (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng or MEng)
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems and understanding their practical application
- Excellent communicator who enjoys collaborating with diverse teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Hold or able to obtain a CSCS White PQP/AQP card and SC level security clearance (British passport holders only)
