Paediatric Clinical Sister / Charge Nurse

Acute Paediatric Nurse

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an experienced nurse to join our Acute Paediatric Team at Warwick Hospital. The Paediatric Unit comprises MacGregor Ward, a 17‑bed inpatient ward (including High Dependency Beds), a Paediatric Outpatient Area, and a 5‑bed Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU).

In this role you will work closely with the Emergency Department, clinicians, Paediatric ACPs, Paediatric Physiotherapists and Specialist nurses. You will be required to:

• Lead and co‑coordinate the team to maintain and deliver a high standard of family‑centred care to all children, young people and their families in accordance with the ward philosophy.
• Support the delivery of high quality, cost‑effective services at all times and deputise the ward manager in their absence.
• Work flexibly, including nights and weekends, and be open to flexible working arrangements.
