Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £37,502 with the potential to rise to £41,669 over 3 years

Data Maintenance Team Leader role at NHS Supply Chain – responsible for leading a team of Data Maintenance Associates and a Principal Data Maintenance Associate, maintaining contract, supplier, and product data, supporting contract launch and customer opportunities pipelines, and coordinating activities to meet timelines and escalation.

Every day you will …

  • Maintain the team workload and resource planner/rota and allocate tasks to ensure that all activities, both scheduled and unplanned, are actioned following team SLAs, keeping key stakeholders updated in terms of progress.
  • Follow a triage, prioritisation, and escalation process to help with the planning of workload and management of stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Monitor and control compliance to data quality standards and efficiency targets, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Participate in commercial contract governance and various other data maintenance project calls, updating cross‑functional teams on progress and challenges.
  • Support the Data Maintenance Manager in reporting workload outstanding and completed, as well as team performance and SLAs, highlighting areas requiring development.
  • Oversee team recruitment and training.
  • Assist team members in setting and meeting their objectives.
  • Promote a committed collaborative approach to ways of working within the team, promoting process improvement and idea generation.
