Electrical Design Engineer – Flexible Hybrid (Building Services)

Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic group. Their Leicester office plays a key role in delivering high-impact projects both regionally and nationally. Your new role as an Electrical Engineer will contribute to the design and delivery of building services projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality electrical engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the design of electrical systems from concept through to completion.
• Producing design calculations, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Supporting senior engineers with site surveys and construction stage duties.
• Collaborating with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensuring designs comply with current regulations and sustainability standards.
• Participating in project meetings and contributing to technical discussions.
• Developing your skills with support from senior engineers and mentors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience working on building services projects within a consultancy or contractor environment.
• Familiarity with relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Relux, and Amtech.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
