Staff Nurse – Pre‑Assessment, Shrewsbury – Full time (includes some Saturday work on a rota basis). Salary up to £34,001.50 per annum depending on experience. 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Be part of a close‑knit team delivering matron‑led care in a consultant‑led service.
- Act as the first point of contact and work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to surgery.
- Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care.
- Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family.
- Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care.
- Build experience across new practices, equipment, and facilities.
- Work with practitioners in other areas, ensuring continuity in patient care.
Qualifications
- Registered with the appropriate governing body and possess the qualifications and experience relevant to registration (including NMC).
- Post‑registration experience and a passion for exceptional patient care.
