Job Title: Defendant EL/PL Solicitor / Associate

Location: Leeds

Salary: Up to £60,000

We are now seeking a talented and dedicated Defendant EL/PL Solicitor / Legal Executive to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of EL/PL claims from inception to resolution
• Conducting thorough legal research and providing sound legal advice to clients
• Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings and witness statements
• Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court when necessary
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the successful outcome of cases
• Keeping up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Qualified or Non‑Qualified Lawyer with a minimum of 1 year experience in Personal Injury Litigation – preferably in defendant EL/PL, but will consider someone from a claimant background
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and case law
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
