Job Description:

A Day in the Life of a Murphy Administrator

  • Key contact for customers submitting completion data, reviewing the data submitted and issuing completion certificates confirming adoption of the network.
  • Inform customers when they can raise invoices for completed connections, and process the invoice upon receipt.
  • Maintain information systems and trackers for recording completion data.
  • Seek to understand business needs and demonstrate innovative ways to continuously improve.
  • Promptly resolve customer enquiries and coordinate resolutions with input from different teams.
  • Ensure administrative processes are effective and efficient, enabling high‑quality service to all clients and partners.
  • Manage site inspection and auditing records and operation and maintenance records.
  • Perform ad‑hoc duties to support the team and the wider business.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in a Utility coordinator role in the construction or utilities industry would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Clear communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Excel and the ability to enter, manipulate, and analyse data.
  • Experience in an IDNO or IGT, or relevant equivalent experience within the Utility sector would be advantageous.
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to self‑manage workload.
