A Day in the Life of a Murphy Administrator
- Key contact for customers submitting completion data, reviewing the data submitted and issuing completion certificates confirming adoption of the network.
- Inform customers when they can raise invoices for completed connections, and process the invoice upon receipt.
- Maintain information systems and trackers for recording completion data.
- Seek to understand business needs and demonstrate innovative ways to continuously improve.
- Promptly resolve customer enquiries and coordinate resolutions with input from different teams.
- Ensure administrative processes are effective and efficient, enabling high‑quality service to all clients and partners.
- Manage site inspection and auditing records and operation and maintenance records.
- Perform ad‑hoc duties to support the team and the wider business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in a Utility coordinator role in the construction or utilities industry would be advantageous but not essential.
- Clear communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent IT skills, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Excel and the ability to enter, manipulate, and analyse data.
- Experience in an IDNO or IGT, or relevant equivalent experience within the Utility sector would be advantageous.
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to self‑manage workload.
