Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy – BIRMINGHAM (to £65K)

We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic first opinion small animal practice in Birmingham area, West Midlands.

• Full-time hours including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota, no Sundays or OOH. (Part-time hours may also be considered.)
• Practice is designed to industry-leading standards with state-of-the-art equipment: dental X-ray, laparoscopy, endoscopy, Kyon TPLO, harmonic scalpel and K-laser, etc.
• Caseload is varied with a high proportion of insured clients, and vets have at least one surgery day per week.
• Ideally you will already have good experience in practice with routine surgical and medical skills.
• If you are keen to develop your interests there is plenty of opportunity, and certificates are encouraged and funded.
• Fantastic location close to Birmingham city life, with easy motorway access, good local transport links, and Birmingham International Airport nearby.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Registered with the RCVS.
• Experience in practice.
• Routine surgical and medical skills.
