Location: London
Job Description:

Company Description

Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Min fees. Max ease. Full speed. Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money. As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world’s money. For everyone, everywhere.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Payment Operations Analyst who is passionate about our mission of Money Without Borders. You will partner with our Payment Operations organisation to drive data‑driven decisions that improve the quality of our payment systems, making them smoother and more efficient. The organisation focuses on resolving issues surrounding the movement of funds, delivering a fast and convenient payment experience for our customers. As a Senior Payment Operations Analyst, you will drive our analytics effort to strengthen quality assurance and control processes; identify how payment processing flows are performed correctly and diagnose when they fail. You will own an attribution model for quality lapses and collaborate with other teams to enhance the quality of payment processing. You will also incorporate AI into your work, using it to improve the quality review process and build meaningful, actionable insights from the vast amount of data available to the organisation.

Please note that Wise does not provide visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborate with various senior stakeholders in the organisation and effectively communicate your insights into real change for our customers.
  • Support the organisation’s drive to improve the quality of its processes by identifying payment flows that meet quality standards, and if not, identifying the reasons for failing those standards.
  • Proactively contribute to, own, create and track key metrics and results for the organisation, keeping them accountable throughout the quarter. For example, understanding team quality KPIs and how each process intervention improves the organisation’s quality scores.
  • Expose the vast amount of data available to the organisation in a meaningful and actionable way and support other teams in discovering insights from data.
  • Support your team and the organisation by building and maintaining data pipelines, preparing reports, and creating visualisations.
