The Mission

You’ll take full responsibility for delivering Net Revenue and Gross Margin targets across a complex grocery portfolio. You’ll beat budget, exceed KPIs, and help shape the commercial agenda across markets. This is end‑to‑end account leadership: strategy, relationships, delivery, and results.

What You’ll OwnAustralia

  • Full ownership of top grocery accounts including Woolworths and Coles
  • Day‑to‑day leadership across range reviews, commercial proposals, buyer requests, and promotions
  • Delivery of new business through NPD, innovation, new categories, and distribution growth
  • Broker management via an appointed Australian partner, building strong and effective stakeholder relationships
  • Ownership of trade marketing spend, performance tracking, and promotional ROI

UK & Ireland

  • Oversight of all major UK grocery accounts including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose and Ocado, plus responsibility for an Irish wholesaler
  • Implementation and execution of the overall UK sales strategy
  • Delivery of account business plans aligned to brand and commercial priorities
  • Senior buyer and supply chain relationship building, including Top‑to‑Top engagement
  • Leadership on pricing, promotions, ranging, and in‑store execution

Commercial & Leadership

  • Ownership of forecasting, reporting, margin management, and commercial analysis
  • Weekly performance reporting with insight‑led commentary
  • Monthly board‑level analysis and presentations
  • Cross‑functional leadership, sharing best practice and driving wider commercial projects
  • Close partnership with marketing, brand, supply chain, and operations

Forecasting & Operations

  • Publish and maintain accurate monthly sales forecasts
  • Adapt forecasts in line with promotions, SKU changes, and wider business shifts
  • Work closely with supply chain and operations to support production efficiency and availability

What You Bring

  • Strong FMCG experience within the UK grocery market
  • Proven senior‑level commercial and P&L ownership
  • Experience across multiple channels (grocery, retail, discount)
  • Confident senior‑level negotiator with excellent influencing skills
  • Proven people leadership experience with the ability to inspire performance
  • Highly numerate with strong analytic capability
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
