This role is to join a well-established consultancy, specialising in mechanical, electrical building services design, with a focus on energy strategies and low carbon. Their projects include residential, health care, education, commercial and retail, they have a strong pipeline of projects and a high level of repeat business.

Responsibilities

• To manage design team and provide electrical engineering support to all electrical engineers
• To carry out electrical design and project management of various types of projects
• Undertaking fee assessments and providing fee bids for projects
• Liaise with clients, providing excellent client care.
• Carry out surveys and produce reports.
• Carry out quality inspections of projects.
• Attend meetings on all aspects of the projects
• Monitor financial aspects of projects.

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified to at least HNC or Degree Level
• 6 years’ experience of electrical design within building services working in a consultancy or a large contractor
• Producing detailed specifications and calculations.
• Management of junior staff.
• Client Liaison
• UK driving licence is essential
