Location: Hounslow, TW4 6JG Pay: £15.68 per hour Hours: Average 42 hours per week – 4 on, 4 off days, including weekends and bank holidays

We are seeking an experienced and driven Lead Security Officer to oversee security operations at a prestigious, globally recognised financial services environment. This is a high‑profile site where professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail are essential. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery while supporting the continued success of a critical corporate operation.

As the Lead Security Officer, you will manage on‑site security personnel and take ownership of day‑to‑day operations, acting as the central point of contact for service delivery, performance, and reporting. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will inspire your team, uphold the core values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness, and build strong working relationships with stakeholders through consistent, high‑quality operational oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all personnel under your supervision have completed the appropriate site training and hold a valid SIA licence or LDN to meet industry requirements.
  • Monitor and manage the appearance and behaviour of all security personnel, taking remedial action in line with the company policy and procedures.
  • Report all incidents in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures.
  • Assist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing best practices and using systems and tools to improve service effectiveness.
  • Be fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV Detection, and Alarm Systems, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting.
  • Assist the Site Manager with any reasonable or practical request.
  • Monitor faults with security related equipment, ensuring they are reported correctly.

Qualifications

  • A valid SIA licence (security guard or door supervisor).
  • Previous experience in a team leading or supervisory role.
  • Flexibility to work days, weekends and bank holidays.
  • The right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
