Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our expanding team.
The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out installation, service, and maintenance work on a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This role requires a proactive engineer who can work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics on refrigeration and HVAC equipment
- Installation and commissioning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service when attending client sites
Requirements
- Proven experience working with commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Valid F-Gas certification
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience with supermarket refrigeration, cold rooms, or pack systems
- Electrical knowledge and relevant certifications
- Experience working in retail or commercial environments
