The role involves developing automation solutions, supporting monitoring tools, and ensuring system reliability in a complex enterprise environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert support for mainframe automation and output management systemsDevelop and maintain dashboards and alerts using SplunkAuthor and execute test cases to validate new and existing functionalityHandle automation-related problem escalations, including vendor coordinationRepresent the team in technical and business meetings with professionalism and confidenceCollaborate closely with Business and Operational teams to ensure service excellenceFollow ITIL processes including Change, Incident, Problem, and Root Cause AnalysisManage automation tools in compliance with security and governance policies (e.g., CyberArk, ServiceNow)Participate in on-call support (24x7x365) for OPSMVS, CA-View, and iDash-related issuesRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong knowledge of Mainframe systems and operationsHands-on experience with:OPS/MVS (OPSMVS)CA-View and CA-DeliverREXX scriptingJCL, ISPF, JES2, and z/OSProven experience in mainframe operations and automation supportStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesDesirable SkillsExperience with I-Dash for CA7 administrationBMC AMI Ops AutomationBMC Control-M Output ManagementSplunk dashboard and alert development xwzovoh SAS knowledgeWindows Server administrationREST API integrationFamiliarity with ServiceNow and ITIL processesKnowledge of CA7 operations and Control-M schedulingBasic web development skillsFile transfer protocols and processesUnderstanding of Agile methodologiesProficiency in Microsoft Office toolsEducation & ExperienceDegree (or equivalent) in a computing-related fieldMinimum 5 years’ experience in a complex mainframe environmentProven experience administering mainframe system automation software*Rates depend on experience and client requirements…
