Structural Engineer

Overview

We’re supporting a leading engineering consultancy seeking a Project Lead Offshore Structural Engineer to drive structural assessment, advanced analysis, and life‑extension strategies for offshore oil & gas facilities across the UK and international regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural assessment and life‑extension strategies for offshore facilities, ensuring safety, reliability and industry compliance
• Perform advanced SACS analysis covering in‑place conditions, fatigue, seismic, abnormal and accidental load cases
• Provide project leadership and technical oversight to structural engineering teams
• Ensure full technical compliance with industry codes, standards and offshore regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated offshore solutions

Qualifications

• Degree‑qualified in Structural, Civil, or related Engineering discipline
• Extensive experience across offshore structural design, assessment, analysis and life‑extension projects
• Strong SACS analysis capability (essential)
• Strong understanding of API/ISO offshore structural standards and safety regulations
• Experience working on offshore life‑extension projects
• Proven leadership skills managing and coordinating engineering teams
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving abilities
• Confident working with client teams and delivering high‑quality technical output
