Nursery Room Leader – South Liverpool | Full Time | Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join a well‑established early years setting in South Liverpool. This is a full‑time position with an immediate start, offering an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role within a supportive and nurturing environment.

We are looking for a confident practitioner who is passionate about early years education and committed to delivering high‑quality care and learning experiences for young children.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a nursery room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Support, mentor, and guide other staff within the room
• Monitor children’s progress and maintain accurate records
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (EYFS)
• At least 3 years’ experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Previous experience in a Room Leader or senior role is desirable
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A proactive and positive approach to teamwork
