Role Description

This is a full‑time hybrid role for an Area Sales Manager based in the Southeast and London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for occasional work from home. The Area Sales Manager will establish and maintain relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and work towards achieving sales targets. Key responsibilities include generating leads, building and managing a client portfolio, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver quality products and services. The role will also involve regular travel within the designated territory to meet with clients and represent the company at industry events.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, and account management
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of the timber or construction industry is advantageous
  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify new growth opportunities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self‑motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the London Area
