Job title: Water Treatment Engineer

Location: Liverpool St, City of London

Terms: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Salary/rate: Salary is paying £45,000 – £46,000 Per Annum depending on experience

Qualifications

• City and Guilds in Plumbing
• City and Guilds in Water Treatment
• City and Guilds Legionella control within hot and cold-water systems
• Experience working with cooling towers
• Demonstrate previous experience in water system remediation/maintenance works
• Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material
• Fully trained and knowledge

A well-established maintenance provider who are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to work on a commercial contract based in The City of London. This reputable company are big believers in promoting staff internally and are currently looking to add a strong Water Treatment Engineer to their team.

About the role

• Mon-Fri (Days) working 08:00 – 17:00
• 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Responsibilities

• Daily, weekly and monthly analytical testing of cooling towers and closed systems.
• Logbook Ownership
• Chilled Water systems
• Cooling tower maintenance
• Closed system experience
• Water flushing
• Disinfecting mains water pipes and hot & cold-water systems when the need arises
• Working with chemicals such as chemical dosing
• Surveys on hot and cold-water systems
• Basic Plumbing
• Repairing pipework and leaks
• Small plumbing jobs such as dead leg removal
• Carry out general building maintenance
• Knowledge of the following: Calorifiers, Cooling Towers – Disinfection, Circulation pumps, Temp tests, Tank Cleans, Chlorination, Water softeners, Cold water storage tanks, Dip Slides
