Our Role
This is a senior, hands-on role leading the development and implementation of verification and testing protocols for FPGA-based systems embedded in cutting‑edge microscopy products. You will own the full verification lifecycle — from defining test strategies to validating performance, functionality, and integrity of FPGA designs — working closely with R&D while also interfacing with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Logistics to ensure product reliability meets the highest standards. Based fully on‑site in Singapore, reporting to the Verification Manager.
You will be responsible for:
- Verification Plan and Report Development: Create detailed verification plans, strategies, test cases, and reports to evaluate FPGA functionality, performance, and compliance with project requirements. Provide clear, concise reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Verification and Validation: Perform comprehensive verification of FPGA designs using various testing tools and equipment to ensure compliance with specified criteria such as speed, reliability, and power consumption.
- Issue Identification and Debugging: Identify, record, and diagnose issues in FPGA designs, ensuring thorough documentation and efficient resolution in collaboration with the development team.
- Automated Testing: Develop and implement automated test procedures to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
- Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance: Oversee continuous improvement in FPGA design verification and validation processes, contribute to quality assurance by evaluating designs against industry standards, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams for seamless integration.
Our Ideal Talent
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with strong knowledge of FPGA technologies, FPGA development tools (Xilinx, Altera, etc.), and FPGA testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in FPGA testing equipment and software, ensuring accurate and efficient verification processes.
- Experience with scripting and programming languages for test automation, such as Python, VHDL, and Verilog.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Preferred background in the Medical Device industry, bringing familiarity with regulatory and quality standards.
