Mon ‑ Fri, 7:30am ‑ 4:30pm, Full Time, Perm.

£34,000‑£38,000 basic salary plus up to 10% annual company/performance bonus (OTE £37,400‑£41,800) dependent on experience.

We are looking for a hands‑on, experienced Yard Manager to join a well‑established, market‑leading business in the construction and civil engineering sector, based at their depot in Stratford‑upon‑Avon.

This is not an office job. You’ll be on the yard, leading from the front, operating telehandlers, loading and offloading artics, managing stock and a small team of yard operatives. Rain or shine.

Requirements

• Current telehandler/forklift licence (non‑negotiable)
• 5+ years operating telehandlers in a commercial yard or construction environment
• Proven experience managing or supervising an operational team
• Experience handling construction or hire‑based products
• Basic HR knowledge – holidays, performance, day‑to‑day people management
• Full UK driving license
• Comfortable with Outlook and basic Excel
• Reliable, punctual, and unbothered by working outdoors in all weathers
