One year fixed‑term contract opportunity

We have a highly skilled finance professional who is passionate about providing excellent financial support to managers across the organisation. This role offers a variety and challenge within the Finance team of Newcastle City Council.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support opportunities to transform the delivery of financial services across the council.
• Maintain effective working relationships with senior managers to support co‑operative ways of working, effective decision making and management of financial resources.
• Track and evaluate benefits realised through the transformational change programme “Change & Innovation Newcastle”.
• Demonstrate a track record of working collaboratively with senior leaders, finance team members and services across the organisation to support the change and transformation programme.
