Fully remote arrangements is available, provided you are within reasonable reach of a major transport hub.The Position:This opportunity is suited to an experienced engineer with strong expertise in electrical distribution systems (or transmsision), including switching, protection, automation, and control technologies. The role involves both technical and strategic input, particularly in aligning product capabilities with customer needs.You will support a range of solutions and services for utility clients across the EMEA region. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will engage with stakeholders at all levels – from technical teams to senior decision-makers.The role also involves hands-on support in the field, including occasional emergency response, and requires regular travel, including overnight stays and some international trips.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to sales teams across the EMEA regionDeliver expert product support and guidance to customersAssist in customer and internal training on equipment and systemsEnsure compliance with industry safety standards and electrical regulationsContribute to product development and adaptation for regional marketsSupport analysis and application of protection systems for distribution networksAssist with general sales and customer support activitiesUndertake additional duties as requiredRequirementsDegree in Engineering or equivalent practical experienceChartered Engineer (CEng) status is advantageousExperience working with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs)Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland, and occasionally internationallyProficiency in tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and enterprise systems (e.g. CRM/ERP platforms)Strong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of medium and high voltage electrical equipment and applicationsExcellent organisational and time management abilitiesFull UK driving licencePhilip CottamManaging Director+44 161 240 3726philip.cottam@hunterphilips.com#J-18808-Ljbffr…
