About You

• Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
• Strong experience in financial management and reporting
• Advanced financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting skills
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication abilities
• Confident managing complex financial processes and stakeholder relationships

About Your New Role

Always

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare management accounts, performance dashboards, and statutory financial statements
• Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and audit obligations
• Produce accurate budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis

Often

• Partner with commercial and operational teams to support decision‑making and improve profitability
• Analyse margins, pricing, and customer profitability
• Monitor and manage costs, overheads, and working capital
• Mentor and develop the finance team

Occasionally

• Lead cost‑saving initiatives and operational improvement projects
• Contribute to ERP enhancements, reporting tools, and process standardisation
• Provide financial insight on investment or capital expenditure proposals

Never

• Operate without oversight on compliance or financial governance
• Attempt to persuade the coffee machine to make latte art
