Help Scale Nature-Based Solutions to Tackle Climate Change

Climate Asset Management (CAM) is a purpose‑oriented investment firm, co‑owned by HSBC Asset Management and Pollination, dedicated to delivering scalable natural capital investment solutions.

CAM’s purpose is to secure a more climate‑resilient, nature‑positive, and inclusive world through bold, scalable nature‑based investment solutions.

What You’ll Do

This is a deal‑focused opportunity for an Investment Manager to be an integral part of the investment team, focusing on closing deals across afforestation/reforestation (ARR), improved forest management (IFM), mangroves, regenerative agriculture, peatlands, and other nature‑based solutions (NbS).

Role Responsibilities Include

  • Leading the execution of specific transactions: to assess, negotiate, execute, and manage transactions related to nature‑based projects that can generate carbon credits, as well as interacting with potential partners and investors in delivering projects.

  • Asset management collaboration: working closely with asset management teams to ensure smooth transition from execution to operations and long‑term value delivery.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5‑10 years’ experience in transaction execution within real assets (ideally nature‑based or infrastructure projects)
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
  • Proven ability to structure and execute complex investments
  • Strong commercial judgement, entrepreneurial mindset and decision‑making skills
  • Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, global environment
  • Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management skills

Advantageous

  • Experience in nature‑based carbon projects or natural capital investing
  • Project finance experience
  • Knowledge of international carbon markets and methodologies
  • Exposure to forestry, regenerative agriculture, or similar sectors
  • Additional language skills (e.g. Spanish or French)

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of climate finance, carbon markets, real asset investing, and institutional capital. A high‑purpose investment remit to deliver commercially robust and environmentally impactful investments.
