Infrastructure Engineer

We’re looking for a Security Engineer to join a high-performing Infrastructure team, working at the cutting edge of cloud security, automation, and AI-driven operations.

This is a hands‑on role (approximately 75% technical / 25% governance) where you’ll play a key part in shaping and securing a modern, cloud‑first environment. You’ll collaborate across engineering, platform, and InfoSec teams to build secure, scalable solutions while continuously improving how security is delivered.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Secure infrastructure across multi‑site and cloud environments (Azure‑focused)
• Design and implement security controls aligned to business risk
• Work closely with a SOC to enhance threat detection and response
• Automate security processes and improve operational efficiency
• Investigate security incidents and drive root cause analysis and remediation
• Implement and manage tools such as Microsoft Defender, Nessus, and SIEM/SOAR platforms
• Develop secure cloud templates and baseline configurations
• Partner with engineering teams to embed secure coding and DevSecOps practices
• Stay up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends

What We’re Looking For

• 3 + Years of strong experience in infrastructure security across cloud and on‑prem environments
• Deep understanding of Azure security, DevOps, and automation
• Hands‑on experience with EDR/DLP tools (e.g. Microsoft Defender)
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms
• Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders

This role offers hybrid working with 2 days in central London and 3 days remote.
