Transport Manager

A multi site agricultural manufacturer are looking for a Transport Manager to cover multiple sites across the group. You’ll have strong transport legalisation and compliance knowledge with CPC qualification and HGV licence.

Commutable from: Chesterfield, Lincoln, Mansfield, Worksop, Newark, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £ 30,000 to £ 33,000 p.a. plus pension, health care, free car parking, 20 days holidays

The Role

• Managing the transport office, updating quality manuals and making sure all procedures are in line with new legalisation.
• Ensuring all operations comply with transport legislation and completing all necessary paperwork.
• All records and paper work are kept up to date and adhering to all DVSA standards.
• Managing and training all of the HGV/LGV drivers.

The Person

• You’ll be an experienced Transport Manager with experience working in a fast paced environment.
• Confident with new transport legislation, with excellent communication skills.
• HGV class 1 licence and CPC qualification
• Excellent attention to details and experienced within training.
