An established, market-leading events and media business is looking for a Conference & Awards Director to take ownership of a flagship portfolio — a key revenue driver within the organisation
This is a senior, high-impact role suited to someone who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, and who enjoys working across content, commercial performance and stakeholder management
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of conferences, awards and exhibitions
- Developing commercially driven content strategies, themes and agendas
- Managing P&L, setting pricing strategies and delivering against revenue targets
- Securing high-profile speakers, sponsors and key industry stakeholders
- Working closely with marketing and sales teams to maximise attendance and revenue
- Leading and developing a team of producers
- Overseeing on-site delivery, ensuring seamless execution across all touchpoints
- Contributing to wider business strategy as part of the senior management team
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience leading event or conference teams (3+ years)
- Strong commercial acumen, including budget and revenue ownership
- Ability to create engaging, insight-led content that drives audience growth
- Confidence managing senior stakeholders and external partners
- Excellent project management skills across complex, multi-stream events
- A proactive, high-ownership mindset
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Hybrid working (3 days in office)
