Job Description:

Coleg Cambria are excited to be recruiting a Lecturer in Electronic & Electrical Engineering to deliver Higher Education courses at our Bersham Road site.

As a Lecturer at Coleg Cambria, you will be required to deliver both practical and classroom‑based learning to our students, develop the delivery and assessment material related to subjects on courses, support learners with additional learning needs, manage groups of learners, build good working relationships with learners and staff, and maintain a positive approach to challenging behaviours.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 4 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter.
  • Minimum of a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed/PGCE) or working towards one.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self‑motivated, well organised and able to work independently.
  • Awareness of the importance of quality standards within teaching.

Salary: £33,596 – £51,932. Upper pay range points UP2 and UP3 are subject to evidence of previous progression to Upper Pay Span. Depending on the position, successful candidates may also need to register with the Education Workforce Council.
