Executive Support and Governance Administrator

1 South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3TG

Part‑time, 0.8 FTE – Fixed term for 2 years with a strong possibility for a 3rd year

About the role

This varied role provides dedicated support to the Head of School and Head of Administration and Finance, alongside coordinating the administration of the School’s governance structures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex diaries and coordinating meetings and travel
  • Preparing papers and correspondence
  • Supporting a range of School activities, events and projects
  • Supporting the School’s committee structure, including agenda preparation, minute taking, action tracking and maintaining governance schedules and deadlines

About you

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

  • Experience providing high‑quality administrative support
  • Drafting correspondence and meeting papers
  • Coordinating competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience supporting governance processes or senior staff (advantageous)
