Senior Technical Analyst

Coopman Search & Selection is delighted to be partnering with a well-established aircraft leasing platform in the United Kingdom as they continue to expand their technical asset management function. This opportunity is suited to a Senior Technical Analyst looking to gain broad exposure across aircraft transitions, technical operations, and portfolio analytics within a dynamic leasing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the technical management and analysis of a portfolio of leased aircraft assets across delivery, transition, and redelivery activities
• Assist with maintenance reserve tracking, budgeting analysis, and technical reporting for internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with technical asset managers, commercial teams, legal counsel, and finance departments on live transactions and portfolio activity
• Coordinate with airlines, OEMs, MRO providers, and external consultants regarding technical and operational matters
• Maintain accurate technical records, asset databases, and reporting systems across the portfolio

Core Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum five years’ experience within aircraft leasing, airline engineering, aviation analytics, or technical asset management
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance planning, lease structures, and aircraft transition processes
• Exposure to Airbus and Boeing narrowbody aircraft within a leasing, airline, or MRO environment
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with excellent attention to detail
• Commercially aware with the ability to work across both operational and transactional activities
• Willingness to travel internationally where required
