Overview

We are seeking a Senior Resident Engineer for a national road infrastructure project commencing in Summer 2026, with an expected duration of approximately 14 months. The role requires strong site leadership experience within roads or transport infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities

• Site supervision and inspection of construction activities.
• Contract administration and reporting.
• Liaison with stakeholders, clients, and contractors.
• Monitoring project progress and maintaining records.
• Working closely with site team members, including engineering and inspection staff.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status desirable.
• Experience with public works contracts (valuations, claims).
• Strong experience in road construction supervision (pavements, drainage, structures, etc.).
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Full driving licence and relevant site certifications required.

Working Conditions

• Standard 40-hour working week with occasional flexibility required.
• Site-based role with transport provided where applicable.
