The Role
This position is based in the United Kingdom. This role requires strong local experience in procurement management, development, and execution. The Procurement Specialist will closely collaborate with International Development Management, Business Development, and Asset Management teams, reporting to the Group Director of International Procurement Dept.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies for UK Development Projects (Logistic & Industrial), ensuring alignment with cost targets and project schedules.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain a comprehensive supplier database for the UK region, focusing on construction, equipment, and industrial services.
- Execution: Lead the full procurement cycle, from tender documentation to contract award, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and company policy.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in industrial/logistics or real estate procurement, with at least 3 full-cycle projects in the UK.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK procurement markets, RICS standards, local cost benchmarks, and planning/authority charges.
- Languages: Professional fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)
- Network: Existing local network of vendors and contractors within the UK market.
