Rare opportunity for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a modern, growing manufacturing site with high-tech production equipment.

This is a hands-on, multi-skilled maintenance role supporting specialist production equipment used to manufacture high-performance materials for sectors including aerospace, defence, motorsport, automotive, marine, energy and industrial applications.

You’ll be joining an AI-led, global advanced manufacturing company headquartered in the UK, with sites across Europe, the UK and the USA.

This is not a standard maintenance role. It’s a high-integrity, technically demanding manufacturing environment where reliability, precision and equipment performance really matter.

The role

You’ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery, control systems, site infrastructure and facilities.

The role will include:

  • Electrical fault finding on production equipment and control systems
  • PLC fault finding, sensors, drives, motors and power/control systems
  • Mechanical repairs on motors, pumps, ovens and processing machinery
  • PPMs, breakdown response and reliability improvements
  • Maintenance reporting using CMMS or internal systems
  • Supporting production, engineering, HSE and quality teams

What we’re looking for

You’ll need strong electrical maintenance experience from an industrial, manufacturing or process environment, plus solid mechanical capability.

Relevant backgrounds could include manufacturing, food, chemicals, composites, aerospace, defence, automotive, motorsport, marine, energy or industrial production.

You’ll ideally have:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering / Multi-Skilled Maintenance
  • Strong electrical fault-finding ability
  • PLC fault-finding experience
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
  • Mechanical maintenance skills including fitting, pneumatics and general repairs
  • Experience with PPM systems and maintenance reporting

18th Edition would be useful, but the main priority is strong hands‑on electrical maintenance experience in a production environment.
