Head of Service for EMS Coordination
The Head of Service for EMS Coordination is responsible for the three EMS Coordination Centres across Wales and leads the Coordination and Integrated Care Department within the Trust Operations Directorate.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Service Managers to provide timely and safe services to those calling 999.
- Represent the Trust at a high-profile internal and external level.
- Drive service delivery of emergency ambulance services in Wales and support the Trust’s mission to “Providing the right care and advice in the right place every time”.
- Collaborate with technology teams to realise and exploit benefits for service efficiency.
Qualifications
- Senior experience in an emergency service, health care contact centre or control room environment.
- Strong leadership and strategic management skills.
- Experience in technology-focused service improvement is desirable.
- Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
