We now have a vacancy for a full time, Band 7 Laundry Engineering Team Manager to work at The Royal Oldham Hospital. The post is permanent, 37.5hrs per week, working Monday to Friday 6am-2pm with flexibility to work across site. The opening hours are 6am – 8pm with rotational Saturday working if required.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with and provide specialist advice to the team’s senior managers and colleagues with regard to the efficient running of the equipment.
- Undertake testing and repair of a wide range of complex laundry equipment.
- Undertake a range of duties in a deputising role for the Commercial Services Manager
- Supervise work plans and work of staff.
- Assist in identifying and managing risk associated with laundry equipment and support investigation of laundry equipment related incidents.
- Act as a mentor and oversee training for engineers of all grades ensuring accurate and up to date records.
