Role Overview
Townhead Surgery, Irvine is seeking an experienced primary care Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to complement our team. The role offers flexible sessions ranging from 4 to 8 per week, with the exact schedule dependent on the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
Provide safe, effective, high‑quality, person‑centred care across a range of primary care settings. Deliver telephone triage, telephone consultation and advice calls in addition to face‑to‑face consultations. Work alongside two salaried GPs, a senior ANP, practice nurse, pharmacists, healthcare assistants, and the health‑board‑employed pharmacy, physiotherapy, CTAC nurses, mental health, community link worker and income advisor teams.
Qualifications & Experience
• 4‑8 sessions per week required; duration flexible for the right candidate.• Experience in telephone triage and consultation.• Robust clinical judgement and decision‑making ability.• Desired professional qualifications including V300.• Prior experience in primary care.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Contract & Salary
Contract Type: PermanentSalary: Will be determined by experience and prior experience.
Location
Health‑board owned premises centrally located within Ayrshire, an easy 30‑minute commute from the Southside of Glasgow.
