Team Leader – Newton Abbot

Deliver a combination of direct support and management time, varying with service needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager to enable people to live their best lives by building confidence, resilience, and supporting positive expression.
• Provide leadership to the care team within Glassmoon Services Limited.
• Deliver care in accordance with best practice, legislative requirements, policies, procedures, and agreed standards.
• Supervise the allocated service in accordance with agreed standards.
• Support and enable People We Support to maintain skills and personal interests through person-centred care, aligned with a person‑led support delivery model.
• Maintain current skills, engaging with learning and development as required.
• Complete required systems and processes around safety, weekly and monthly checks, documents, and risk assessments.
• Participate in BILD and Restraint Reduction Network Community of Practice, striving for best practice.

Qualifications and Experience

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, with at least one year’s experience after completion.
• Willingness to work toward attainment of Leader in Adult Care, Level 5.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Satisfactory criminal record check.
