Job Details

Position: Assessor Trainer – Electrical (full‑time and part‑time). Salary £39,365‑£45,675 per annum plus £5k market supplement for full‑time (part‑time pro‑rata). Holiday 25 days per annum plus bank holidays (pro‑rata for part‑time). Location: Broxbourne Campus. Closing Date: 5 June at midday.

About the Role

Support the successful enrolment, delivery, training and achievements of apprentices across the electrical apprenticeship programmes, ensuring timely and overall outcomes on apprenticeship standards within the subject area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strengthen employer communications as a central point of contact, including matters such as attendance, punctuality, and progress concerns.
  • Support external relations with awarding bodies and end‑point assessment organisations.
  • Assist with the development of marketing material and information to promote electrical apprenticeship provision to prospective apprentices and employers.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of all components of an apprentice’s journey from enrolment through to timely completion.
  • Work with the wider apprenticeship team to enroll new apprentices effectively and timely onto their chosen apprenticeship standard.

About You

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above or a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above in the identified subject area/specialism or willing to work towards within the probationary period.
  • Occupational industry experience in the identified subject area/specialism.
  • IT literate.
