Engineering Manager – Electronics & Product Development

At Stiltz, we’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our talented multidisciplinary engineering team, influence the development of our exciting homelift product range, and play a key role in delivering solutions from concept through to manufacture.
You will have a strong technical understanding with excellent project and people leadership skills across electronics, embedded systems, software, and electromechanical product development.
What you will do:
- Lead research and development projects from concept through to manufacturing handover, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines, quality, and business objectives
- Manage and support multidisciplinary engineering teams, creating a collaborative, accountable, and high‑performing environment
- Provide technical leadership on electronics‑led and electromechanical projects, supporting robust and practical engineering solutions
- Monitor project progress, risks, priorities, and resources to maintain momentum and remove delivery obstacles
- Lead project reviews and communicate progress, risks, and key decisions clearly to stakeholders
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and product teams to ensure smooth implementation and product readiness
- Support effective validation, testing, documentation, and engineering change processes to maintain compliance and product quality
- Promote continuous improvement and strong engineering practices across teams

What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in leading engineering or technical product development projects
- Established engineering leadership experience within a multidisciplinary product development environment
- Strong understanding of electronics, electrical systems, embedded systems, or electromechanical products
- Ability to balance technical detail with project‑level delivery focus
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and design‑for‑manufacture principles
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards
Desirable:
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, or similar project management methods
