About the role

We are looking for a Market Access Manager to help shape and deliver ALK’s national market access strategies in the UK and Ireland. You will bring a profound understanding of the market access environment, the NHS, and a strategic mindset. You will work closely with colleagues in UK and global functions, as well as engage with stakeholders (including HTA bodies, DHSC, or CPU) to help ensure that patients have access to ALK products.

Key responsibilities

  • Support development and delivery of the national and regional market access strategy across the ALK portfolio
  • Support development of HTAs and engagement with HTA bodies
  • Lead pricing applications
  • Support the development and delivery of high‑quality HTA dossiers
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of RWE projects
  • Support pricing applications and negotiations
  • In collaboration with cross‑functional colleagues ensure development of clear value messages supported by high‑quality materials for engagement with local stakeholders
  • Contribute to UK and Ireland plans for pipeline products
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of the market access environment in the UK and Ireland
  • Operate in compliance with relevant codes of practice

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2‑3 years’ experience in market access, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector
  • Excellent knowledge of the market access environment at both the national and local level in the UK and Ireland
  • Experience of carrying out NICE submissions and understanding of health economics (preferred)
  • Understanding of pricing and pricing applications
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with managing external vendors

Workplace: Hybrid with office in Reading (and soon Maidenhead)
