Job Summary

Location: Reading

Basic salary: £26,770 + uncapped commission; realistic OTE up to £60,000.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 18:00 pm, 30 minute unpaid break, 45 hour week. Flexible working discussions possible.

About the Role

Rygor Auto seeks a motivated Van Sales Executive to join the award‑winning company in Reading, a newly built site in 2023. The role focuses on providing van solutions to customers, identifying van requirements and presenting new and used van stock solutions, and closing deals. Experience or interest in electric vehicles is an advantage.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities

  • Researching assigned areas to identify new business opportunities, using resilience and perseverance to book sales meetings and close deals with new customers and existing opportunities.
  • Promptly answering phone calls and assisting walk‑ups and wholesale customers with their needs, ensuring no opportunity is left unexplored.
  • Establishing and fostering positive relationships with other departments, especially after‑sales, to ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
  • Concluding sales contracts and making required amendments, always ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Customer database management – essential to keep records up to date for best practice and communication.
  • Promoting current sales campaigns and achieving sales targets.
  • Responsibility for the showroom – taking pride in the site when customers walk in.
  • First‑class vehicle handovers and recording customer satisfaction.
  • Identifying new business opportunities for the organisation.
  • Overseeing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals – making sure the loop is closed.
  • Developing business strategies that help the organisation to increase sales and drive growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience in van sales is desirable but not essential; strong sales experience in any field is acceptable.

Will be required to undergo a DBS check before joining.
