Location: HampshireSalary: Up to £52,000 basic salaryRole: Maintenance Engineer
The Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining site machinery, equipment and facilities, ensuring production runs efficiently with minimal downtime. This is a varied role covering both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of equipment and all maintenance across the full site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site equipment
- Fault finding and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
- Minimising downtime through effective and timely repairs
- Supporting installation and modification of equipment
- Assisting with spare parts management and stock control
- Working alongside contractors and supporting site projects
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Ensuring high standards of health & safety and hygiene are adhered to
You will also be part of an on‑call rota and provide support as part of a 1 in 3 weekend rota, with additional pay provided for on call.
Shift
Either:
- Monday – Thursday (4‑day week), or Tuesday – Friday (4‑day week) with condensed hours
- Alternatively, Monday – Friday
- 1 in 3 weekends required on site
- On‑call rota with additional payment
What We’re Looking For
- Multi‑Skilled Engineer with Level 3 recognised qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving ability
- Experience working with motors, drives, gearboxes and inverters, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience within industrial manufacturing, agriculture or similar environments
- Welding / fabrication experience beneficial
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
