Purpose

Help us to deliver great primary care by improving access, outcomes and patient experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe, clinically accurate decision‑making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice, or working towards non‑medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and ability to maintain and monitor standards of care.
• Preferred: level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, or candidates with accreditation or an MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.

• Annual salary of up to £60,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary Care setting, NMC registered nurse with advancement towards a non‑medical prescriber, and ideally a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner.
