We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Estimator with a strong background in civil engineering to join a growing team, where you will have opportunities for development. This is a key leadership role where you will take ownership of the estimating function, ensuring high-quality, competitive tenders while driving innovation and continuous improvement across the process. You will be working on 1st principle estimating across civils inclduing rail, water, utilities, energy, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Successfully lead the estimate production for your allocated workflow.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation throughout the tender process.
• Lead and promote a client-focused culture within the estimating function.
• Mentor, lead, and develop junior members of the estimating team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

The Ideal Candidate

• Typically HNC qualified in Civil Engineering/Rail or possesses 5+ years’ on-site experience.
• Strong IT skills, particularly within the Microsoft Windows Office suite.
• Proven industry experience within civil engineering.
• Demonstrable experience operating at a senior estimating level

Salary: up to £75,000 + allowance/car and package.
