£52,725 Total Package + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) to join our team, working on a key contract with a major UK supermarket chain. This is a field‑based role covering multiple retail sites, where you’ll carry out a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across commercial heating and HVAC systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
• Servicing and repairing equipment including boilers, pumps, fans, AHUs & FCUs
• Carrying out minor installations and system upgrades
• Diagnosing faults and recommending repair or replacement
• Ordering parts and completing work in line with company procedures
• Attending scheduled and emergency call-outs

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Heating, Ventilation, Mechanical or HVAC (or equivalent)
• ACS Commercial Gas: COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• ACS Domestic Gas (CCN, CENWAT, CPA)
• F-Gas (C&G 2079-1, Category 1)
• 18th Edition (C&G 7671)

• Experience in a retail or multi-site environment
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Flexible to join a 1-in-4 on‑call rota
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Familiar with PDA/job management systems
