Health & Safety Manager
Salary: Up to £60,000 p.a. (DOE)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm; Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm
Next Generation is recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager to work with a leading manufacturer providing bespoke solutions to their global network. The role involves promoting a positive HSE culture across the client’s manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and support to teams to meet requirements of legislation, ISO standards and company processes & procedures.
- Support implementation of HSE policies to drive improvements and gain/maintain certification.
- Promote a proactive approach to HSE management including regular floor walks & contact with supervisors & managers to ensure issues are clearly understood and effectively managed.
- Investigate site issues, accidents, incidents including production of accident & incident reports and root cause analysis.
- Facilitate the delivery of corrective and preventive actions for significant issues in conjunction with the relevant teams / managers.
- Conduct internal and supplier audits with reporting and follow‑up of findings.
Qualifications
- 3‑5 years experience as a Health & Safety Manager (Essential).
- NEBOSH & or COSHH certified (Essential).
- 3‑5 years experience working within a manufacturing/production environment (Essential).
- Absolute understanding of ISO14001 & 45001 (Essential).
