Job Description:

What you will be doing

  • Provide economic, commercial, and strategic advisory on the power market to energy companies, financial institutions, governments, and regulators as they navigate the Energy Transition.
  • Perform company and asset valuations of renewables, batteries, conventional generation and flexible demand.
  • Advise government entities on the costs and benefits associated with various future energy policy options.
  • Optimize portfolios ranging from fuel contracting to generation dispatch, and develop hedging strategies for vertically integrated energy operations.

Your Skills And Experience

  • Understanding of the Polish Power Market: Knowledge of market fundamentals, design, policy, regulation, and commercial structures.
  • Commercial Structures and Route to Market: Experience evaluating commercial structures and assessing routes to market for power generation assets, focusing on designing business models in energy markets.
  • Client-Facing Impact: Ability to take ownership and deliver impactful results in client-facing settings.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in managing projects on a day-to-day basis and overseeing inputs/outputs from our modeling team.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
  • Creative and Entrepreneurial Mindset: Willingness to collaborate and work with others to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to occasionally work in diverse market contexts and themes or support model development efforts.
  • Language Skills: Advanced C1 proficiency in both Polish and English.
